Fragile but pure,
A cure within haze,
Tired of whining.
Asking to play,
Beaten and forgotten,
Unloved and molested.
Yet pure but broken,
Lost in time,
Thinking thoughts dream’s complexed.
Freezing inside,
Anger’s only out let.

Hearing the cloud’s bang,
Flashes of hope in denial,
Assaulting banter,
Slashing flesh-exposing faith.
Condemning liquid’s running freely,
The damnation of innocence,
Stealing goods turned sour,
Washed away as tears fall.
Still pure but falling,
Sinking to a new level,
Healing wounds with a new addiction.
Still pure but cracking,
Stressed relieved pressure,
Colliding patterns easing change,
Telling stories-myths un-believed.
Showering love bruises words.

Bathing knee deep in pain,
Rain illuminated red,
Rinsing self-respect away.
Clouding doubt in heaven’s reward,
Pure but forever stained,
Protesting life’s rewinding time.
Replaying this each night,
Asking mommy for a light,
A signal,
A way out,
Something since teddy left.
Alone again,
Flashing flight electrifying fright,
Dropping tears, collecting salt.
All sincere in a child’s eye,
Staring deep within hell’s opening door.
